The LAUNE Guide to Tribeca
Tribeca has been my home for many years. This guide is a collection of my favorite spots in the neighborhood, pulling together some of my go-to spots, from longtime favorites to newer finds worth checking out.
Stay: The Warren Street Hotel
A fabulous hotel that’s as cozy as it is colorful—perfect for tea, a Sunday roast, or curling up with the paper (dog-friendly, of course). My boyfriend and I come here each Sunday for tea and reading.
Eat: Paros
Bright, fresh Greek fare with excellent outdoor seating—ideal for a summer lunch or dinner.
Eat/Drink: The Odeon
Not only a Tribeca institution, but a New York Institution. My family and I come here every year on the night before Thanksgiving.
Drink: Della’s Wine Bar
Adorable and quaint. Great for a date.
Eat/Drink: Y’ves
Trendy yet grounded French bistro with a buzzing atmosphere—perfect for a night out with friends.
Eat/Drink: Max
Low-key neighborhood gem for classic Italian comfort food—always delicious. Probably one of my favorites in the city. A great spot to sit at the bar.
Eat (Brunch): Locanda Verde
The best pancakes in New York (IMO).
Eat: Frenchette
Eat/To-Go: Rigor Hill
A local favorite for breakfast sandwiches and their unbeatable curry vegetable soup.
Eat/Drink: Le Pain Quotidien
The Tribeca location is such a gem!! Perfect for studying or working.
Eat/Drink: Gran Morsi
Elegant yet relaxed Italian with a great Limoncello spritz and an even better arancini.
Drink: Titsou Bar
A moody, elegant bar inside the Hôtel Barrière Fouquet’s—great for a martini.
Eat/Drink: Tamarind
Elegant Indian cuisine - some of the best in the city.
Drink: Galerie Bar
Great for groups or a nightcap. I recommend the Pornstar martini.
Drink: Primo’s
Retro-inspired cocktail bar with a glamorous edge—perfect for a martini and late-night conversation. I had my 25th birthday here and it was fabulous!
Eat/Drink: El Vez
Vibrant Mexican fare and some of the best guac and margaritas downtown. Plus they have a photo both!
