LAUNE x Jessica Granader

Jessica Granader is a New York–based writer and creator who brings a thoughtful, grounded perspective to sharing online. After more than a decade in digital spaces, she created Consciously Considered as a place to collect the things she genuinely loves and returns to — from what she wears and reads to the routines that shape her days. Her work reflects a more intentional way of living, rooted in curiosity and real life rather than perfection. Below, Jessica discusses creativity, authentic content, and how it’s changing alongside her life.

1. Tell me about yourself.

I live in New York City and have been creating online for over a decade. I started with a food Instagram in 2014, which sparked my love for social media, creativity, and sharing ideas. I’ve always been someone people come to — for what to cook, where to go, what to buy, or even just how to think about something — and that instinct has followed me through everything I do.

Today, I write Consciously Considered, where I share personal reflections, things I’m experimenting with, and recommendations I genuinely love. I work in marketing, love creating content, and I’m currently engaged and getting married this September, which has naturally made me reflect more on time, priorities, and what I want my everyday life to look and feel like.

2. What is your LAUNE (mood)?

Curious, reflective, and someone who likes to balance slowing down in a fast-paced world.

3. Tell me about Consciously Considered.

I started Consciously Considered as a place to collect the things I genuinely love and return to — outfits I actually wear, books I reread, places I go back to, and routines that make my days feel better.

It’s not about doing everything perfectly or living slowly all the time. It’s more about being intentional with what I let in and what I choose to share. Fashion, lifestyle, and everyday rituals all live there — alongside reflections on work, creativity, and learning what feels right for me as I move through different seasons of life.

4. What inspires you?

The people and spaces around me. I am constantly in awe of how different places - the mountains, the beach, etc affect my energy and how I feel.

I’m also inspired by earlier versions of myself. For a long time, I tried to move through life the way I thought I was supposed to — dressing a certain way, making certain plans, keeping up. Over time, I started paying closer attention to what actually made me feel good. That shift — toward comfort, creativity, and living more intentionally — continues to shape everything I create and to hopefully inspire other people to do the same.

5. What drives your creative process and content?

Everything I share comes from real life. I’ve worked in social media for years, so I’m very aware of how polished and performative things can become — and I try to resist that.

I love fashion, routines, cooking, reading, and creating little systems that make my days feel better, but I’m also ambitious and genuinely love working. My content sits in that middle space. It’s for people who enjoy getting dressed, building a life they’re proud of, and figuring things out as they go — without needing everything to be perfect.

6. What do you love about New York?

I love the energy. New York is motivating and full of opportunity, but it can also feel surprisingly intimate.

You can meet new people constantly and still run into family or friends on the street. That balance — fast-paced but familiar — is what makes it feel like home to me.

7. What are you looking forward to this winter?

Slowing down a bit. I’m focusing on making my apartment feel more like home, cooking more, taking care of myself, and spending quality time with friends.

8. What’s next for you?

This year feels like a big season of change for me. I’m getting married in September, which has naturally pulled me into a new chapter — thinking about personal style in a different way, celebrating milestones, and being more present in the in-between moments.

Content-wise, that means more fashion, more bridal, and more lifestyle woven into everything I already share — from getting dressed and hosting at home to slowing down and savoring this phase. I’m excited to keep creating in a way that feels honest to where I am right now and to let my content evolve alongside my life.
