LAUNE x Bar Pierce

Bar Pierce is a New York City–based creative driven by curiosity, conversation, and personal style. Raised between Texas and the Northeast, her perspective is shaped by movement, contrast, and an early love for fashion and design. Now rooted in the city, she splits her time between building her personal brand, co-founding a vintage sourcing business with her sister, and life with her golden retriever. With an incredible eye and sense of style, below, Bar shares what inspires her, how New York shapes her creativity, and how personal style fits into it all.

1. Tell me about yourself.

Hi! I’m Bar, a 25 year old living in NYC with my golden retriever. I grew up in Texas with deep roots in the Northeast, spending my summers in New York and Rhode Island since I was born. Growing up between these two worlds gave me the best of both and shaped my love for different cities, perspectives, foods, friendships, and an early appreciation for fashion, design, and creativity.

From a young age, I have always been a go-getter with a lot of ambition, sometimes maybe a little too much depending on who you ask. Over the years, through childhood, my teenage years, and college, I learned that not everything is meant for me, and that clarity is a gift. That realization allowed me to focus on what truly inspires me and lean into the things that spark genuine passion.

Since graduating college in 2023, I have gravitated toward what excites me most and built a life rooted in curiosity, creativity, and joy. Recently, I took a leap away from the corporate world to fully pursue the creative space by growing my personal brand and co-founding a vintage sourcing business with my sister. Despite our eight year age gap, we balance each other well by complementing each other’s strengths and weaknesses, allowing the brand to grow intentionally and evolve throughout 2026.

My family and friends mean everything to me. As I have gotten older, it has become clear who the people in my life are that I can truly rely on, lean into, and grow alongside. I am endlessly grateful for the support system that surrounds me.

In 2026, I am excited to deepen my love for all things fashion and lifestyle, meet new people within the industry, and continue learning every day. I truly believe conversation is one of the best ways to do that. My door is always open to meeting new people, taking on new projects and hobbies, and leaning into anything that feels creatively aligned. I am excited to see where curiosity, connection, and creativity lead next!

2. What is your LAUNE (mood)?

My mood right now is trusting, loving, and learning to believe in myself. The social media space, especially at the beginning of a new year, can feel overwhelming, and I have intentionally pulled back on consuming content that led me toward comparison, something I have struggled with over the years. While I may appear confident from the outside, I am focusing on truly believing the positive things others see in me. As I step into a new creative era of my life, my mood is centered on rebuilding trust within myself and creating something that feels authentic and makes me proud.

3. What inspires you?

I feel like so many things inspire me. What inspires me most is curiosity, conversation, and the people around me. I am inspired by meaningful connections, creative expression, and the courage it takes to build something of your own. I find inspiration in fashion and design that feel lived in, in storytelling that feels honest, and in the quiet moments that allow clarity to surface.

4. What are three staple items that every closet should have and why?

Oh gosh, this is hard, but I would have to say an easy, high quality white tee, a great pair of trousers, and well fitting denim. And yes, amazing footwear and accessories deserve an honorable mention. These three pieces are staples because they create the foundation for any great outfit, whether it is day or night. With a strong base, you can completely transform a look through styling. Add a fabulous shoe, layered jewelry, a great bag, a bandana, sunglasses, the list could go on. The base stays simple, but the personality comes through in the details.

5. What drives your creative process and content?

Everyday life in NYC and the conversations I have are what truly drive my creative process and content. Listening to podcasts, reading Substack, and scrolling Pinterest also play a role, but I try not to overconsume content. I have learned that too much input can sometimes block my own thinking. While it is easy to fall into the mindset of comparing what I am creating to what others are posting or questioning whether I should be doing the same, I am trying to be intentional about staying true to myself. Ultimately, I find my best ideas through real life moments, meaningful conversations, and observing the world around me. That is where my creativity feels most natural and authentic.

6. What do you love about New York?

I could talk about this for hours. I love New York so much because the opportunities truly feel endless, which sounds cliche but is completely true. This is where I feel the most creative and energized, and where I find myself wanting to get things done. I love the mix of people from everywhere, and most importantly, having my friends from all parts of my life here, hometown friends, college friends, and lifelong summertime friends. Knowing I always have someone in my corner is incredibly special to me and honestly keeps me grounded. I love the restaurants, lounges, bars, coffee shops, art galleries, and shopping because the energy and atmosphere are truly unmatched. I can meet someone almost anywhere, whether it is on the subway or waiting at a crosswalk. New York constantly reminds me why I love the creative space and why being surrounded by inspiration, people, and possibility matters so much to me.

7. Which New York neighborhood has the best style?

I think I have to say SoHo. I love walking through the neighborhood because it is where I see the widest mix of fashion and personal style. The streets themselves feel inspiring, and I could spend hours window shopping and people watching. It naturally draws people who love fashion and express it in completely different ways, which makes it feel creative, dynamic, and always evolving.

8.What are you looking forward to in 2026?

In 2026, I am looking forward to traveling more, spending meaningful time with the people I love, and continuing to invest in myself and what I am building. I am excited to deepen my creative work, explore new opportunities, and feel more grounded and confident in my body and mind along the way. Above all, I am looking forward to growth, connection, and creating a life that feels balanced, fulfilling, and truly my own.

9. What’s next for you?

Funny enough, this is something I have spent a lot of time working on over the past year and a half. I used to always chase the next thing instead of living in the moment. What is next for me is staying present, trusting the path I am on, and allowing life to unfold naturally while continuing to build, grow, and learn along the way.

Rapid Fire:

1. Describe your style in three words.

Chic, effortless, authentic

2. AM or PM skincare?

AM, but recently I started a PM skincare routine and I am loving how it helps me unwind and feel more grounded. It has become a calming ritual that helps ease my stress and anxiety and gives me a moment to slow down at the end of the day.

3. What’s one product you could not live without?

Moisturizer. I loatheeee dry skin and must have moisturized skin at all times.

4. If you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?

Ralph Lauren. Every piece is so timeless.

5. Early mornings or sleeping in?

Early mornings!

6. Favorite place?

Sitting outside on a sunny day with my best friends playing cards, talking about life, drinking an aperol spritz and a diet coke with a lemon.

7. Favorite drinks spot in New York?

So many! But my friends and I love Bar Pisellino, Bandits, Le Dive

8.Favorite restaurant in New York?

Hate to say it, but I can never pick just one

9. Dream collab?

Shooting for the moon here, but Marlo Laz or Foundrae would be a dream. I grew up around jewelry because my Mom is an estate and antique jeweler, so I have always loved accessorizing with bold, meaningful pieces. Jewelry has always felt personal to me, and I am drawn to brands that treat it as storytelling rather than just an accessory.

10. Favorite brand?

COS or The Frankie Shop, but if I had to choose, I’d say The Frankie Shop. I love the strong tailoring, oversized silhouettes, and how the pieces feel elevated yet effortless. It captures that cool, timeless NYC energy while still being wearable for everyday life.

11. Favorite style icon?

I love Gabri Gofis. Her style and overall presence feel incredibly timeless and effortless, and there is a quiet confidence to the way she carries herself that I find so inspiring.

12. Favorite movie?

Hate to say it but i dont think I have a specific favorite movie.

13. What are you loving right now?

Personalization, little wins, personal notes, animal print, early cocktail + dinners, wearing a lot of jewelry, bold color accents, and fur.
